[Pre-owned] Leica M2-R — Body Only, Serviced

Description

This is the Leica M2-R, a version of the M2 that adds the M4 quick-loading system and an unmarked hammertone-finish base plate. Per the Leica Pocket Book, about 2,000 were made in 1969–1970 from a cancelled US military order. This camera has been serviced, the shutter speeds are accurate and it shows normal signs of use.

• The camera has been serviced by a professional technician.
• The leatherette is chipped at a corner on the bottom of the body, and the base plate has scratches (see photos).
• The body cap is not an original Leica part.

When an item ships from outside the US, US Customs charges import duty based on the country where it was made. For cameras made in Germany the duty is currently about 10% of the item's value. Import duties and taxes are not included in our price and are not collected at checkout: if they apply, the courier will ask you to pay them, together with its customs clearance fee, before or at delivery.
