Description
This is a Konica Hexar RF 35mm rangefinder with the M-Hexanon 50mm f/2 lens, offered as a full set with boxes, manuals and a hard case. The Hexar RF uses the Leica M-compatible KM mount and has a built-in motor drive. The body works normally and shows a few small marks; the lens is in good working order.
Please note
- The body has a few small scratches, some paint loss and small dings (see photos); none affect function.
- The Hexar RF model is known for rangefinder alignment drifting over time; please keep this in mind.
- The lens shows some fine dust and light marks under strong light, typical for its age; this does not affect images.
- No hot shoe cover and no UV filter included.

Zerka Studio has offices in China, Japan and the United States, and our inventory is shared between them; most items ship from China or Japan. This item was made in Japan. When an item ships from outside the US, US Customs charges import duty based on the country where it was made. For cameras made in Japan the duty is currently about 12.5% of the item's value. Import duties and taxes are not included in our price and are not collected at checkout: if they apply, the courier will ask you to pay them, together with its customs clearance fee, before or at delivery. Rates are set by US Customs and may change. If you are not sure where this item will ship from, please contact us before ordering and we will confirm. If a shipment is refused because the duties were not paid, the duties, the shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
How we grade condition
Every item is inspected and tested by our technician before it ships, and the photos show the actual item. Each listing has its own Condition Report; the grade sums it up:
- Unused — never used; the packaging may have been opened for inspection.
- Like New (98–99%) — no visible signs of use, or only the faintest marks.
- Excellent (95%) — light signs of use, with no dents or notable marks.
- Very Good (90%) — visible light wear, such as small scratches or rubbing.
- Good (85–89%) — clear signs of use, such as scratches, paint wear or brassing.
- Fair (80% or below) — heavy wear.
- For parts or repair — not fully working.
